Foyle Pride season is now upon us as the city gears up for the annual celebrations in support of our LBGTQ+ community.
Alongside the week of events which includes discussions, sports, politics and discos is the always-popular Foyle Pride parade.
The Foyle Pride parade sees the streets of Derry come alive with colour and music and it will be no different this year.

The parade has not taken place since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and organisers are thrilled to see its return.
Those taking part in the parade can gather at Duke Street train station car park from 1:30PM before the parade leaves at 2:00PM.
The parade route will follow from Duke Street station, across the Craigavon Bridge, up Carlisle Road into Ferryquay Street, around the Diamond, down Shipquay Street and into the Guildhall Square.
As the parade enters the Guildhall Square, there will be live music hosted by the one and only Micky Doherty, with a family area in the nearby Pickled Duck Cafe.
Granny Annies will host the Pride After Party from 8:00PM for over 18s for revellers to dance the night away.
The theme for this year's Foyle Pride is "celebrate, inspire, protest, remember", bringing in the positivity of emerging after the COVID-19 pandemic while keeping Pride's roots in mind.
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Sandra Duffy, said: "I am delighted that this year’s parade is going ahead on Saturday, August 27 in its original format and that we can once again welcome people out onto the streets for this fantastic celebration.
"I have had the pleasure of meeting with representatives from Foyle Pride to hear about the excellent range of events and initiatives that have been organised, it really does promise to be a fantastic celebration."
