The FA Cup quarter finals will soon be upon the footballing world once more as the fifth round draws to a close with Tottenham's trip to Sheffield United on Wednesday night. With games taking on a new look this season, played in midweek due to the congested schedule, the last eight teams will find out who they have to get past to get one game closer to glory.
With the semi-finals also being held at Wembley stadium there is the chance for Grimsby Town or Fleetwood Town to have their names in the spotlight while some of England's biggest clubs also fight for a place in the history books as well. Four sides have already booked their places in the draw too.
Manchester City overcame a stubborn Bristol City side at Ashton Gate with late goals adding gloss to their 3-0 win while Brighton continued their own remarkable season with a 1-0 win at Stoke in a battle with the Potters. The shock of the round so far came with Blackburn beating 2021 winners Leicester 2-1 at the King Power Stadium. Meanwhile Fulham fly the flag high for London clubs, overcoming Leeds 2-0.

Tottenham can put their names in the hat for the final eight by beating the Blades whilst the other remaining fixtures include Manchester United vs West Ham, Southampton vs Grimsby and Burnley vs Fleetwood.
Arsenal and Chelsea both fell foul to Manchester City and are no longer in the competition having played each other in two of the past five finals and with one or both of them in 20 of the last 30 finals, winning 14 between them.

When is the FA Cup quarter final draw?
The sixth round, of the quarter final, draw will take place after Tottenham's game against Sheffield United. The draw will start after the game which is scheduled to be around 10pm, not accounting for extra time or a penalty shootout.

Which teams are left in the FA Cup?
There are still four ties to be played with four already taking place on Tuesday night. The draw currently looks like this, with the ball numbers as follows:

When are the quarter final ties being played?
The sixth round games are due to be played over the weekend of March 18-19. Progress for Tottenham would see their game against Southampton rescheduled whilst Fulham will have to find a new date for their trip to Anfield to play Liverpool.
