What time is Eurovision Song Contest on tonight – and what time does the UK perform?

The Eurovision Song Contest is back - and this time it's in the UK.

The show will be broadcasted from Liverpool, England following Sam Ryder's success in the show last year. He finished in second place with his track Spaceman, following on from Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra who won the show.

Due to the war in Ukraine, it was agreed that the second placed act would host the show on behalf of Ukraine.

Mae Muller is representing the UK, with her track 'I Wrote A Song' and there are high hopes for her to take home the top prize this year after the UK narrowly missed out on the top spot in 2022.

Eurovision, coming live from Liverpool, north west England, will kick off at 8pm on BBC One.

Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina are set to present the 67th annual song competition, whilst Rylan Clark and Scott Mills are also involved in the presenting for the UK.

Catherine Tate will be the one to give out the points for the UK when the show crosses to each country to find out how their audiences ranked the different acts as the big leaderboard takes shape.

The show will end at midnight, but it is live TV so anything could happen!

When does the UK perform tonight?

Mae Muller will be representing the UK - and will be performing last place on the night.

26 countries will take to the stage during the evening, with Mae performing her track 'I Wrote A Song' in 26th place. Ukraine, who the UK are hosting for, will perform in 19th place in the running order.

It is believed Mae will perform around 10.45pm but it could be a little earlier or later given it's live TV.

Speaking about her performance, she said previously: "I feel like it's such a huge honour to be able to represent my own country where I have lived all my life. The fact that we' re hosting this year just feels extra, extra special.

"You can expect some sass! It’s going to be fun and a big party."
