Emmerdale kicks off with an earlier start on Christmas Day.
A storm, a murder, and an affair have all gone down not long ago but the Emmerdale Christmas specials promise even more explosive scenes.
With long-lost relatives making their presence known and relationships pushed to their limits, the village will continue to face more drama than several cities combined.

Emmerdale fans can expect an hour-long special on Christmas Day at an earlier time, usually reserved for ITV News. It then returns to its typical time slot the following evening, restoring some normality to the dizzying holiday period.
Emmerdale airs at 6pm on Christmas Day and 7pm on Boxing Day, both on ITV1 and ITVX.
