What time does The Weeknd’s concert start and end at Wembley Stadium?

The Weeknd is bringing his After Hours Til Dawn tour to Wembley Stadium in London on Friday. Abel Tesfaye is completing the worldwide tour on the back of his albums After Hours and Dawn FM, and he has already sold out London Stadium twice this summer.

After back-to-back July concerts, the Canadian is heading to the north-west of the capital to the home of English football for the last of his summer European concerts.

He started the 64-date marathon tour in July 2022 and is now in the closing stages of After Hours til Dawn, which will end after dates in Latin America this autumn.

Some fans, however, might get a better view than others, with Wembley Stadium offering some tickets with a restricted view for up to £43 for some concerts.

“It hardly bothered me because the atmosphere during such a concert is so good,” Rosalie Streenstra, a fan of the singer, told the BBC, adding The Weeknd’s inflatable moon backdrop blocked her view of the stage.

“For many fans, a restricted or side view is not a problem,” Ticketmaster has said, saying that all the options with a restricted view are clearly sold as such without any foul play.

Liliana Cooper added that her unusual seats allowed her to see The Weeknd arrive in his car.

“It’s just that little thing that you can experience that not everyone else can see. For the amount of money that I paid, it's 100 per cent worth it,” she added.

After Hours was released during lockdown in 2020 and he combined the tour with Dawn FM, which came out in 2022.

This weekend (no pun intended) he will be back to doing what he does best, playing the hits to massive crowds.

Here are all the details.

What time do the doors open for The Weeknd at Wembley Stadium?

Wembley Stadium will open to fans at 5pm.

There is set to be decent weather, with highs of about 25°C on Friday.

Who is supporting The Weeknd at Wembley?

Canadian DJ Kaytranada will bring his funk and hip-hop grooves to the turntables and there is support from musician Mike Dean, who had a hand in The Idol.

It is likely they will be on stage from 6.15pm.

What time will The Weeknd be on stage?

Abel Tesfaye is set to be on from 8.30pm. According to the website Setlist, his shows last for an average of 1 hour 47 minutes, which suggests he will be done by around 10.20pm.

What might The Weeknd’s setlist be?

Only Mr Tesfaye can tell you for sure but fans are not likely to be going home disappointed as the singer put together monster setlists for his tour.
