What time does 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics opening ceremony start? Dates and full schedule

After four years away the Winter Olympics are back, as thousands of the world’s most talented athletes head to Beijing in the hunt for gold medal glory.

Out of the long list of competitors, 50 will head to China to represent Great Britain as part of Team GB across 11 sports.

Whilst the opening ceremony kicks off this Friday (February 4) a number of disciplines are already underway, including curling, ski jumping and ice hockey, with Team GB already out competing.

Heading into the 24th Games, The Brits will no doubt be out to make history as they look to better their joint best finish of five medals achieved in 1924, 2014 and 2018.
