What time can we expect the Dolphins to make their Day 2 picks?

The first night of the 2023 NFL draft has come and gone, and the Miami Dolphins didn’t make a pick in the first 31 because of a trade they made at last year’s deadline and tampering penalties.

On the second night, the Dolphins are set to make two selections – one at No. 51 and one at No. 84. While it’s unclear whether or not general manager Chris Grier will move around the draft board, we have to be prepared for the team to make selections at those spots.

But, when could these picks take place?

An offer for Dolphins fans

In a world that’s so busy and offers so much entertainment, it’s understandable to not stick around for all of the draft. Luckily, we have some history to look back on to tell us when Miami should be on the clock.

When it comes to pick No. 51, those picks were made at 8:37 p.m. ET (2022), 8:30 p.m. ET (2021) and 8:36 p.m. ET (2020) in the last three years. To give you some breathing room, viewers should probably be in their seats around 8:20 p.m. ET.

The second of their selections, pick No. 84 comes hours later. In recent years, those picks were made at 10:25 p.m. ET (2022), 10:34 p.m. ET (2021) and 10:47 p.m. ET (2020). Again, leaving room for fast selections, fans should probably be viewing around 10:15 p.m. ET.

Again, there’s a chance that Grier makes a trade and moves around, so fans should keep their phones close to them for updates regarding a change in plans.
