After a 12-month delay, the opening weekend of the 2021 Rugby World Cup (played in 2022) was a hugely entertaining affair. England thrashed Fiji 84-19, Wales registered a crucial win against Scotland in Whangarei and the Black Ferns wowed the crowds with their haka.
There is another feast of rugby coming up this weekend as round two kicks off.
The pool stages will reach their climax on Sunday, October 23, before the knockouts begin the following weekend, with the coveted final taking place on November 12.
