What the Manchester United dressing room thinks of Erik ten Hag's changes

Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga has explained that consistency in training has been the biggest improvement Erik ten Hag has brought to the club since his arrival.

After a slow start to the campaign under Ten Hag, United soon found their rhythm, winning all of their matches since the World Cup without conceding a goal. They welcome AFC Bournemouth to Old Trafford on Tuesday night looking to consolidate their place in the top four.

Ahead of the match, Elanga spoke to the United Review about Ten Hag and his impact with the Reds. The Swede explained: "I feel like consistency in what we do (is United's biggest improvement this season).

"Mentally preparing for games, the day before games, the way we train. I feel like everyone's properly focused and buying into what the manager wants us to do and how he wants us to play and how he wants us to be on the pitch as a team; confident, on the front foot.

"I feel like we're all buying into it. We're starting (to do this) - we won't get it overnight.

"It's something that takes time but I feel like we've done really well so far. Like I say, it's now about that consistency and keeping it up and hopefully we keep it going for the rest of the season."

MEN Sport understands that Everton are one of the clubs interested in signing Elanga on loan in January after he has failed to receive the same minutes this season, as he did last year. Speaking about his aims for the second half of the season, the 20-year-old added: "There's a lot to come.

"I feel like the second half of the season will be an important one for me and I'm looking forward to showing what I am capable of doing. The coaching staff are helping me day in, day out, and I feel they will play a huge part in what I will become in the second half of the season."
