Kyogo says a dressing room joke with his Celtic teammates about his HAIRCUT is behind his iconic 'mushroom' goal celebration.
The Japanese star has been a smash hit at Parkhead since arriving from Vissel Kobe, firing 16 goals before his injury at the turn of the year.
He's recently returned to fitness and is being slowly reintroduced by Ange Postecoglou.
Kyogo will be desperate to get back among the goals after his flying start, especially with the club in touching distance of the Premiership title.
It will also give him the chance to dust off the famous celebration that was a common sight at Celtic Park before his hamstring injury flared up.
The ever-smiling hitman would often be seen arching his hands above his head after a goal - and he's now explained the thinking behind that iconic pose.
In a Q&A session on Celtic's Twitter page, one fan asked: "Where did you get your iconic celebration from?"
And he responded explaining his fluffy haircut is at the root of it.
Kyogo said: "A lot of teammates mentioned about my 'mushroom' hairstyle so it has become my trademark celebration!"
But while his Celtic teammates seem to be a fan of his barnet, the man himself isn't so sure.
He was asked who has the best haircut other than himself and Kyogo responded: "Everybody! All the haircuts are short unlike mine and look smart!"
