A new Channel 5 thriller series is set to keep us gripped over the next week.
The Drowning, which begins on February 1 at 9pm, will air over four consecutive nights and has been written by Emmerdale writer Tim Dynevor.
The four-part series tells the story of a grief-stricken mother consumed by the hope her missing son could still be alive.
Mum Jodie "commits to a dangerous and transgressive path" after thinking she's spotted a glimpse of her child who has been missing, and presumed dead, for nine years.
As she manages to isolate herself from her family and ex-husband, she becomes obsessed with the teenage boy, Daniel, whom she believes to be her long lost son.
The Drowning was filmed in and around Dublin before the coronavirus pandemic.
So, who makes up the cast in the brand new series?
Jill Halfpenny takes the lead as bereaved mother Jodie. Viewers will recognise the actress from a whole host of major TV shows including Byker Grove Coronation Street, EastEnders, Waterloo Road and Three Girls.
Rupert Penry-Jones plays Mark, Daniel's father whom Jodie becomes fixated with.
Penry-Jones known for his his roles as Adam Carter in Spooks, Clive Reader in Silk, DI Joseph Chandler in Whitechapel, and Mr Quinlan in the American horror series The Strain.
Jonas Armstrong, known for playing the title role in the BBC One drama series Robin Hood, plays Jodie's brother Jason while stage actress Deborah Findley stars as her mum Lynn.
Cody Molka plays teenager Daniel and the actor has an interesting family connection as he is the son of Placebo frontman Brian Molko.
The Drowning also stars Babs Olusanmokun as Ade, who has appeared in Black Mirror and The Widow, and Jade Anouka from His Dark Materials who has been cast in the role of Jodie's friend and partner Yasmin.
