What Taylor Swift music might Travis Kelce have heard after he hinted ‘a few’ songs were coming?

The Kansas City Chiefs once again had a bye in the playoffs, meaning the players had a chance to rest and prepare over the weekend as they readied themselves for the second round. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce joined The Pat McAfee Show on Monday to discuss all things football, and — of course — a little Taylor Swift (he made a 22 reference!)

Kelce has been dating the 14-time Grammy winner since summer of 2023, and the duo has supported each other through appearances at his games and her Eras Tour performances. Now, the back-to-back Super Bowl winner is among the lucky ones getting to hear some potential new stuff from Swift.

“There might be a few,” Kelce said with a smile when talking about new music to McAfee.

But what might that music be? Could Kelce just be referring to Reputation (Taylor’s Version) and Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version), the highly anticipated final two re-records from her discography? Or is there a chance her twelfth studio album is closer than we think?

Due to her current trademark filings for Reputation (Taylor’s Version) and Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version), Swift has until February 16, 2025 to either release or use her last extension. If she decides to extend the trademark for the fifth (and final) time, Swift will have until August 16, 2025.

Time will tell what new music is on the horizon, but it’s exciting either way.
