A Place Called Hollywood Newcastle Museum. An exhibition telling the stories of those who lived, worked and played in an unofficial "suburb" of Newcastle established just outside Jesmond during the Great Depression of the 1920s and 1930s.

Clay Day 10am to 11.30am, Newcastle Library. Help the Newcastle Migration Research Network build 600 tiny ceramic houses which represent the 600 refugees who have recently resettled in the Hunter Valley. They will be displayed at Watt Space Gallery during the New Annual Festival. Free but registrations essential.
