What Romelu Lukaku said to camera as Thomas Tuchel screams at Trevoh Chalobah in Chelsea win

"We had a few days to get together as a group, speak within the group, some truths needed to be said and we got that out of our system," Mason Mount told Sky Sports after Chelsea beat Leeds United 3-0 at Elland Road. Whatever was said in the changing room, or on the training ground, clearly worked.

Chelsea looked back to somewhat near their brilliant best against Leeds - and the timing couldn't have been anymore perfect. The Blues make the short trip to Wembley on Saturday afternoon to take on Liverpool in the FA Cup final and the win on Wednesday night will give the side some much-needed confidence ahead of the showdown.

Many people thought Chelsea would have had one eye, or perhaps more, on the final for their trip to Elland Road. That was definitely not the case, however.

The Blues took the lead after just four minutes in Yorkshire following a beautiful goal from Mount. The England international then turned provider in the second-half, with Leeds a man down following Daniel James' horror challenge on Mateo Kovacic, setting Christian Pulisic up to make it 2-0. Romelu Lukaku then scored his third goal in two matches in the last 10 minutes to seal the three points for Chelsea.

With all of this being said, football.london takes a look at some moments you may have missed from the brilliant Chelsea performance and result against Leeds. Let us know if you spotted anything in the comments section below...

Lukaku's message to TV camera

Lukaku netted his 15th goal in all competitions for Chelsea on Wednesday evening. The Belgian got called back into the starting XI at the weekend and took his opportunity with a quick-fire double against Wolves.

The 28-year-old, who has been heavily criticised since re-joining Chelsea last summer, is finally coming back into the form he showcased after arriving back at Stamford Bridge. His overall performance against Leeds was exceptional. He looked hungry and determined to score.

It took its time to come, but he did finally find the back of the net at Elland Road - and looked delighted when doing so. Lukaku has now put a massive claim to start Saturday's huge FA Cup final with Liverpool.

After scoring against Leeds, Lukaku went over to the Sky Sports TV camera and had a clear message. It looked like, although this cannot be confirmed, he said the two words: "I'm back!". Yes you are, Romelu.

Tuchel screams at Chalobah

Trevoh Chalobah returned to the Chelsea side at Elland Road. The 22-year-old defender hadn't played for the Blues' senior side since the win against West Ham United last month - with plenty of supporters keen to see him back in the line-up.

They got their wish at Leeds and Chalobah didn't disappoint. The defender looked composed on the right side of defence and he barely put a foot wrong all night. Although this wasn't the case in Tuchel's mind.

After scrapping with Rodrigo near the touchline, Chalobah gave away a cheap foul after some consideration from referee Anthony Taylor. When Taylor blew the whistle, Tuchel furiously shouted at Chalobah, gesturing that the defender's positioning was wrong in the build-up.

"We informed the team very late today who plays. He did maybe not expect it," Tuchel said on Chalobah returning to the side after the game. "It was the same against West Ham where he came in on short notice.

"In both matches, he delivered. This is the level he can deliver and it's about consistency. He lacked it a little in the last weeks and we did some other choices which is normal. He needs to stay humble, hard working and he can be a big part of it."

Mount sets Chelsea record

Mount was truly tremendous against Leeds. The Chelsea star continues to flourish this season and it was one of his strongest performances this term when the Blues needed him most.

His goal was terrific. After some clever link-up play with Reece James, Mount struck the ball into the top corner, leaving Illan Meslier with absolutely no chance in the Leeds goal.

Mount didn't score again, but he certainly continued to play his part. A delicate little flick left Pulisic with all of the space in the world and the American slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

That assist from Mount means he is the youngest ever Chelsea player to have double-digits in goals and assists in the same Premier League season. At 23-years-old, Mount breaks the record held by Juan Mata, who did it when he was 25.
