What Richarlison did to get Thomas Tuchel sent off after Antonio Conte handshake vs Chelsea

A video from the stands of Stamford Bridge has revealed Richarlison played a major role in Thomas Tuchel's sending off against Tottenham Hotspur. As emotions ran high in west London, the Chelsea boss clashed with Antonio Conte throughout the derby resulting in the duo being shown respective red cards.

As tempers flared in, the first off-the-ball incident occurred when Conte celebrated in front of Tuchel and a mass sideline bust-up broke out, with either manager dealt a yellow card for their involvement. The London derby proceeded and Tottenham were a goal behind heading into stoppage time.

The north Londoners were awarded a corner in the latter minutes of the clash which saw Cristian Romero grab Marc Cucurella by his hair and pull him to ground. VAR reviewed the altercation and dismissed Chelsea's claims of violent misconduct.

Antony Taylor signalled for Tottenham to take the following corner which saw Harry Kane glance a header beyond Edouard Mendy inside the far post. After the final whistle, red mist descended on Stamford Bridge and yet another clash between the two managers was seen, resulting in Taylor sending both off.

But, amid the mass congregation of players and staff, Richarlison was on the prowl. Conte was given his marching orders first, with some delay before Tuchel followed.

It looked as if Taylor couldn't find the Chelsea boss buried in the heated crowd, but the Brazil international helped the referee and ushered him towards Tuchel. On the refereeing performance, the German had some harsh words in his post-match press conference: "I don’t think just some of the fans think that [Anthony Taylor has made some poor decisions against Chelsea]. I can assure you the whole dressing room of us, every single person, thinks that

"I can’t understand how the first goal is not offside and I can’t understand when a player is pulled by their hair, the other player stays on the pitch. Pull someone else’s hair, stay on the pitch and attack the last corner.

"This is for me without any explanation and I don't want to accept it. Both goals should not stand and it’s a fair result because we were brilliant, deserved to win. This is my point of view."
