What Patrick Kelly did on international duty as four West Ham youngsters earn starts

Patrick Kelly scored twice for Northern Ireland Under-19s while three other West Ham players featured for their national side on Wednesday night.

Nineteen Hammers will hope to represent their country across 25 fixtures this international break, with the first games already played and more to get underway on Thursday night.

Wednesday night saw England U19s take on Montenegro U19s while Northern Ireland U19 played Slovenia U19 in UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifiers.

Kelly found the back of the net with a brace in five minutes but was unable to secure the win for his side when Slovenia scored twice in the last 15 minutes, including a last-minute equaliser.

Michael Forbes and Callum Marshall both started the match alongside Kelly, with Sam Glenfield replacing Marshall in the 80th minute with the score 2-1.

Meanwhile for England, Divin Mubama played 58 minutes as the Three Lions won 2-0. The 17-year-old was making his first start at this age group and made way for Manchester United's Omari Forson just after the break.

Mubama could feature against Georgia U19s on Saturday while the Northern Ireland trio are back in action the same night when they play Netherlands U19s.
