Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is back coaching in Norway a year after he was sacked by Manchester United. The 49-year-old has been out of managerial work in the twelve months since he was dismissed by United in November 2021.
Solskjaer had been in charge of United for just under three years before he was sacked last season following a poor start to the Premier League campaign.
United were thrashed by Leicester and Liverpool, as well as being totally outclassed by City at Old Trafford. His final match saw United lose 4-1 away at Watford, a side that would go on to be relegated by the end of the campaign.

Since then, Solskjaer has spent time away from the game, and has turned down offers of a return to management, given that he does not want to rush into another job.
He has now taken a step back towards management, returning to the sidelines to take charge of his son's Under-14s team back home in Kristiansund.
Norwegian outlet Tidens Krav say the United legend has already created a fun training environment for the local side and that there have been positive results on the pitch.
Roy Keane recently paid a visit to his former teammate and attended a training session.
