SCOTLAND are back in Nations League action tonight with Ireland the opposition at Hampden.
Steve Clarke's side surged to the top of the group on Wednesday with a 3-0 triumph over Ukraine to take control of the section.
However, Ukraine bounced back to take a thumping 5-0 win over Armenia in the earlier kick-off on Saturday.
It temporarily retores Ukraine to top spot, but Scotland will regain pole position should they take even a point this evening.
There's then just the final matchday to come next week with Scotland heading to Poland to complete the group with a crucial meeting against Ukraine.
Here's what Scotland must do to win the Nations League group...
For Scotland to win Nations League B Group 1, the easiest method would be to win both remaining matches against Ireland and Ukraine.
That would put Scotland on 15 points which no other country can achieve in the group.
However, two draws would also get the job done for Clarke's men. That would put Scotland on 11 points which Ireland cannot match.
That scenario would however leave Scotland and Ukraine level on points, but the group order is decided by head-to-head records before goal difference.
That means Scotland would top the group after the 3-0 vctory over Ukraine at Hampden.
Scotland would also finish as group winners should they beat Ireland and draw with Ukraine. And it'd be the same story even if Scotland lose to Ireland and then go on to beat Ukraine.

What would Nations League group triumph mean for Scotland?
If Scotland do manage to win their group then the country will be promoted into 'League A' for the next group stage of the international competition.
That means Scotland would join the elite European nations in the top pool for the next edition of the Nations League groups.
Winning the group also comes with the bonus of qualifying for a spot in Euro 2024 play-offs through the Nations League.
Three of the 24 spots at Euro 2024 will be determined by the Nations League play-offs with twelve teams selected to compete based on Nations League performance.
The group winners of leagues A, B and C are included - unless they have already qualified - in the play-offs to compete for a Euros spot.
A group triumph could also mean a spot in Pot 2 of Euro 2024 qualifying in theory offering an easier draw in the group stage.
