What Mohamed Salah did at 7am as Liverpool star determined to make changes

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has delighted fans once again as the Egyptian steps up his preparations for the Premier League campaign ahead of reuniting with Jurgen Klopp's side.

The Reds are due back in pre-season in early July, friendlies against German sides Karlsruher and Greuther Furth kicking off their bid for Premier League success before jetting to Southeast Asia to take on Leicester City and Bayern Munich in Singapore.

There is an extra impetus for Liverpool this season as they look to eradicate the mistakes of the previous campaign that saw them suffer nine defeats and 10 draws. Their poor form saw them pipped to Champions League qualification by Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Although a late resurgence saw them settle for Europa League and Thursday night football, there is a disappointment within the squad after failing to qualify among Europe's elite. Salah, in particular, was left "devastated" by their failure to qualify in the top four.

And in a series of Instagram snaps, the Egyptian is showing he is not messing around this summer as he showcased his impressive routine at 7am, around 5am BST.

The 31-year-old showcased his workout early in the morning, further expressing his determination for the Reds.

It is the latest update after Salah was doing pilates on his social media as he bids to fire Klopp's side back to the competition where they've been finalists three times during the German's tenure.

What is evident is that the attacker has taken the qualification of rivals United and Eddie Howe's side personally following his statement after it became mathematically impossible for a late surge into the top four.

"I’m totally devastated," wrote the 31-year-old. "There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum.

"I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down."
