Mohamed Salah is well known for jumping in a pool in the early hours of the morning after playing for Liverpool in an evening kick-off but this time he was joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in Lisbon.
Liverpool got the job done in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Benfica on Tuesday night as they took a 3-1 lead back to Anfield after goals from Ibrahima Konate, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz. Darwin Nunez struck in the second half to give Benfica hope going into the second leg.
That takes place next Wednesday (April 13). But first up for Jurgen Klopp's side is a massive Premier League game on Sunday when they make the short trip to take on Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Etihad. A win for Liverpool will move them two points above their championship rivals.
PAUL GORST VERDICT: What Liverpool fans sang after Luis Diaz goal says a lot about Jurgen Klopp
PLAYER RATINGS: Naby Keita brilliant and Trent Alexander-Arnold great against Benfica
Salah, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are likely to play a huge role in Sunday's titanic title clash at City and recovery will be key given the short turnovers between matches. The Reds will play at least eight during April as they push to win an unprecedented Quadruple.
Alexander-Arnold started in Lisbon for the first time since injuring his hamstring in the win over Arsenal last month while Salah was brought off on about the hour mark as Liverpool boss Klopp looked to regain a grip on the game following Nunez's strike.
Liverpool are in the midst of a hectic schedule and could find themselves in the semi-finals of the Champions League, at the top of the Premier League and in the final of the FA Cup at the end of it.
After the second leg against Benfica, they face City again, but this time in the FA Cup semi-finals, on Saturday, April 16.
