What Miltiadis Marinakis did after Nottingham Forest win on the City Ground pitch

Miltiadis Marinakis was spotted on the City Ground pitch mingling with Nottingham Forest supporters and sharing embraces after the penalty shootout success against Sheffield United.

The son of Reds owner Evangelos was in attendance at the City Ground for the Championship play-off semi-final second leg to see Steve Cooper 's side reach Wembley for the first time since it reopened in 2007. They were are one of just eight teams to never play there, but that duck will now be broken on 29th May.

Greek flags have been held aloft by supporters over recent weeks, in reference to their owners who hail from the Hellenic Republic, which Miltiadis was keen to highlight on two such occasions on social media. Now the owner's son has got involved with a flag of his own.

In a video posted on social media and also referenced on Twitter by TV commentator Kostas Vernikos, Miltiadis is shown holding the Greek flag aloft in either hand among the swathes of supporters on the pitch at some stage after full-time. In the footage, Miltiadis is seen joining in with a video being taken by a supporter before then posing for a photo with said individual.

Militadis shared the video on their own platforms with the hashtag 'BELIEVE' followed by 'NFFC'. A screenshot has also emerged appearing to show that Militadis joined fans digitally and spoke to supporters in an impromptu Twitter space in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
