North London Derbies are known for their intensity and fiery nature and the second half of Arsenal's clash with Tottenham provided just that. It came as a huge response from Spurs following a poor opening 45 minutes from the home side, who were unable to get going.
It was one of their more experienced players that caused the initial problems as Bukayo Saka's ball across the face of goal was parried in by Hugo Lloris. Further trouble was to come as Martin Odegaard's long-range strike at goal nestled into the bottom corner, doubling his side's lead.
Jamie Redknapp believed that change may have been needed for the side to get back into things, telling Sky Sports: "He’s sent out the same eleven but after 10 minutes he might change the system, he can take off one of the centre backs and bring on Richarlison.

"Kulusevski could come back and you’d have a three in midfield to match them up - that might be an option - but he’s almost said to the players you’ve got us in this mess, you get us out of it. I think he’s got to make a change. The first 10 or 15 minutes if you don’t get a reaction, something has to change as Arsenal have been so good, it’s been too easy for them."
Whatever Antonio Conte said, it resulted in an immediate reaction from the side in the second half, as has been the running theme throughout this season. A few challenges were flying around and Spurs had their opponents on the backfoot before Mikel Arteta tried to slow things down.
The Arsenal boss received the ball after it was put out for a Tottenham throw-in and when confronted by Dejan Kulusevski, he threw it away. It ended up sparking an angry reaction from the Swede amid questions over Arteta's recent conduct on the touchline.
