Matt Turner has been spotted signing an Arsenal supporter's shirt right after USA beat El Salvador on Friday.
The American goalkeeper recently agreed a deal to join the Gunners over the summer transfer window, football.london reported a few days ago.
Arsenal and New England Revolution agreed on a deal worth an initial £4.5million, which will eventually rise to £7.5m with further bonuses.
New England Revolution boss Bruce Arena recently dropped a huge hint that Turner could be on his way to Arsenal.
Arena said: "As speculated, there is a chance we could lose Matt Turner. If things work out the right way, we will lose him in the summer."
Now, Turner has been spotted signing an Arsenal shirt when embracing the crowd after USA's 1-0 win against El Salvador, which will likely go down very well with his new fanbase.
What has been said about Turner?
USA manager Gregg Berhalter recently hailed the goalkeeper's "amazing" rise over recent years, with Turner looking set to become an Arsenal player in a few months' time.
Berhalter said: "It's just an amazing story and it's all down to him, his work ethic, his belief in himself and his never-give-up attitude.
"It's a great story and Matt is a great guy, a team-mate and we're lucky to have him. Tonight was an example of where he did everything that he had to do.
"He was calm in all situations. Was not tested much (in USA's win over El Salvador), but when we needed him and he looked like a player that is going to Arsenal, for sure."
Arsenal's goalkeeping situation
Arsenal, at the moment, have Aaron Ramsdale as their first-choice goalkeeper, with the England international showing fine form since leapfrogging Bernd Leno in the pecking order.
Leno has not played in the Premier League since September and was told he can leave the club earlier in the month, football.london understands.
However, with just days remaining of the January transfer window, the Gunners are reluctant to let the German leave the club this month, according to Sky Germany, via Chronicle Live.
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Leno, but it looks as if they may have to wait until the summer transfer window before they can bring the goalkeeper to St. James' Park.
Leno has 18 months remaining on his contract at Arsenal, meaning in the summer, he will have just a year left, which could force the Gunners into accepting a reduced fee.
