Marc Cucurella is doing all the right things in order to endear himself to Chelsea fans early on in his Blues career.
The new left-sided defender signed for Thomas Tuchel on a six-year deal in a transfer worth an initial £55m plus add-ons. It offers Chelsea a fresh way of playing with the Spaniard able to play as a centre-back, fullback, wingback and even winger.
The move also opens up the chance for Marcos Alonso, Emerson and Malang Sarr to exit the club.

For such a hefty price comes a big expectation though and much like the £50m tag that hung over Ben Chilwell's head when he moved to Stamford Bridge, moving up a level from Brighton, into the Champions League and coming from a fellow Premier League side, there will be a demand for the 24-year-old to make an immediate impact at his new side.
The former-Getafe man is doing all he can to make a good first impression though, pointing to a Blues legend as his inspiration for joining the club. Speaking to the club's media team, he said: "In video games I always select Chelsea because I like Drogba!"
Like all Chelsea fans, it's easy to be a fan of Didier Drogba, a player that won four league titles and led the club to its first Champions League triumph. He was also a brilliant player to use on FIFA, being given a 91 rated base Ultimate Team card on FIFA 10 before going on to be added as an Icon for more recent additions.
If Cucurella really wanted, he could link himself and Drogba next to each other and make a dream become reality.
