Manchester United midfielder Casemiro took the unorthodox decision of swapping shirts with Luka Modric, who he was playing against for the first time since leaving Real Madrid, at half-time during Brazil's defeat against Croatia at the World Cup.
Casemiro started for Brazil against Croatia in the first quarter-final of the Qatar World Cup on Friday evening and he played the full 120 minutes as his side eventually lost on penalties in a dramatic shootout following a late Croatia equaliser.
The 30-year-old, who Neymar described as the 'the best midfielder in the world' last week, played in four matches from a possible five at the tournament, but he'll now return to Manchester and could be available to play Burnley in the League Cup.

The scoreline was 0-0 at half-time when the pair swapped shirts and penalties were required to decide the contest.
