Christian Pulisic's recent links to Liverpool may not come as a surprise - with Jurgen Klopp previously making no secret of his admiration for the Chelsea attacker.
The two have worked together when the American was just a teenager and Klopp was in charge of Borussia Dortmund, but could they soon be reunited?
The Reds are facing an injury crisis in attack with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz out for a number of months, so perhaps rumours of a loan deal for a Chelsea star short of gametime makes sense. That is, if Liverpool are keen and if the London side would let him move to Anfield.

According to 90min, Liverpool are amongst a number of clubs 'interested' in signing the USA star on loan in January from Graham Potter's Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has struggled for minutes under the former Brighton boss and reuniting with Klopp could potentially see him reignite his promising career.
When addressing rumours over a move for the 22-year-old back in 2018, Klopp said: "If Christian would at one point join us, I don’t know.
"But I like him and it’s not like that could be the problem. We respect contracts still and there is no market that I know about in the moment.
“I known him since he was a kid and he’s still not really old. He’s a fantastic player and it’s deserved that people think highly of him in America and in Germany it’s the same.
“If he wants to play in England one day or whatever and he, for sure, has the chance to do so.”
Pulisic himself has made it no secret of his admiration for the Liverpool boss as he spoke about his time at Dortmund on the 13&Me podcast: "I’m getting ready, going to training and it’s just unreal. I was 16 or 17 and I’m going in the warm-up and there’s huge names at the time.
"There’s [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang, Marco Reus, Matts Hummels, [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan. All these guys and they were just in the Champions League final the year before.
"It’s like I’m going in and I’m just this 16-year-old kid. I was thinking just do my best. I was just so excited and I’m just thankful to Jurgen Klopp that he gave me that opportunity. I’ll take that with me forever and I’m really grateful."
