What Jordan Henderson did at 3am after Liverpool beat Arsenal

Jordan Henderson has posted a video of his early morning post-match recovery following Liverpool’s win over Arsenal.

The Reds moved to within a point of leaders Manchester City thanks to a 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium. Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino were on target for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side remain well in the hunt for four trophies after their win in the capital. Having already claimed the Carabao Cup, the Reds remain in the hunt for the title, FA Cup and Champions League.

And it appears that Henderson is doing all he can to keep himself in shape for Liverpool’s run in by taking part in a recovery session in the early hours of this morning. Taking to Instagram twice between 2am and 3am, the Reds captain posted a video of himself cycling in a pool, before posting a picture of himself with swimming goggles on.

The England international captioned the video with a message to Reds team-mate Sadio Mane. He wrote: “Recovery time…@sadiomaneofficiel where you at?”

Speaking on the title race after the game, Reds defender Andy Robertson said: "It was a game in hand. I don’t like games in hand too much, I would much rather points on the board – I’ve always said that. Now we’re on level games.

"But I’d still rather be in Man City’s position, they’re ahead, they’ve still got a point advantage, obviously we still need to go to their place. I think a couple of players said that after the game; I agree with that.

"We just need to keep going, we need to try to keep winning games. We’re in fine form just now but we’ve got another huge game on Sunday, another chance to get to Wembley and then the international break.

"We need to keep pushing, we need to keep winning games and if we do that we’ll be there or thereabouts come the end of the season."
