The New York Jets shot themselves in the foot over and over again against the Denver Broncos.
The Jets (2-2) lost 10-9 to the Broncos (2-2) and in the process took 15 penalties. Of those, 13 were accepted for a loss of 90 yards.
While some can be debated such as wide receiver Allen Lazard celebrating a first down, when you have a number like that it’s not really a question. It’s a problem.
New York head coach Robert Saleh knows that and said it has to change.
