What Jamie Carragher did after Harry Kane's game-winning goal for Tottenham against Man City

Harry Kane blew the roof off of the Etihad Stadium with a late, late winner against Manchester City.

It was Kane's best performance in a Spurs shirt this season, as he had been the best player on the pitch against the Premier League champions.

The loss for City pulls Liverpool right back into the title race, while Spurs look in good stead in the race for the top four.

Commentating on the game, Jamie Carragher had gushed over Kane's performance throughout the afternoon.

Carragher, who has been critical of the England skipper's performances this season, had been impressed with Kane dropping deep, whilst causing issues for City's backline along with Son Heung-min.

But for all Spurs' work, City looked to have grabbed a point when Riyad Mahrez scored a penalty in stoppage time.

On the 95th minute though, Kane got on the end of Dejan Kulusevski's cross to nod home - securing all three points in dramatic style.

And on commentary, Jamie Carragher's reaction captured the moment perfectly.

Carragher screamed and said: "This is why football is the greatest game you will ever see! He’s on side this time.

"Harry Kane uses his body fantastically, what a performance from Harry Kane!"

On Kane's performance, Carragher added: "He’s been outstanding today he really has. It feels like with Manchester City watching, look what you could’ve won!

"That man there, Son and Kane, that partnership. He’s deserved that goal he really has, he’s been Tottenham’s best player."
