After returning from a two-year hiatus, Glastonbury Festival has created a new way to keep festival-goers prepared.
Revellers at the world famous music festival will likely be spending a lot of this week lining up for activities, camping and enjoying the sunshine. To help aid its customers, Glastonbury has now got its own app just for the 2022 festival.
The official app, made in partnership with EE, comes equipped with a wide variety of features that will likely prove to be useful at the festival. Whether you're only going for the day or are slugging out for the whole week, pretty much anyone who steps foot onto the festival site will find some use for the app.

What is the Glastonbury app?
One of the main features of the Glastonbury app is the map feature which allows people to know where all their favourite stages, venues and campsites are located across the large farm. The app also provides on-the-go information in regards to what artists are performing at each stage.
For example, tapping on the 'Line-Up' tab allows users to look at each stage individually while also being provided a full breakdown of which artists will be performing at the stage and at what time. However, the app isn't just for personal use and comes with some social features.
People who have come to the festival with a group of friends can select their favourite artists performing at Glastonbury and sharing the line-up with their friends. The app also allows users to learn more about their selected artists such as what genre they play and what kind of experience could be expected at their show.
The map feature on the app also allows user to identify where the nearest stage, shower, ATM, medical tent and other important locations are relative to their current position. Those who are looking for some inspiration can also use the 'Info' tab on the app to get a wide range of tips and tricks from the festival organisers.
The app is available on both Android and iPhones via the Google Play Store and App Store respectively.
