Philippe Coutinho shared a warm embrace with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and his backroom team in the tunnel at Villa Park before the Reds beat Aston Villa 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old is set to make his loan move at Villa Park permanent from Barcelona after leaving Liverpool for the Spanish giants in January 2018.
Coutinho cost Barcelona £140 million and they are reportedly set to sell him to Steven Gerrard's side for around £20 million.

As the Liverpool side, lead by Virgil van Dijk, lined up in the Villa Park tunnel on Tuesday night, Coutinho was captured embracing with Reds boss Klopp with a warm smile on his face.
It was the third time Coutinho has come up against his former club after being knocked out by Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final in 2019 with Barcelona.
This was the first time the midfielder has lined up against the Reds in the Premier League.

Coutinho can also be seen embracing Pep Lijnders and Peter Kravitz - who know the former number 10 well from his time at Anfield under Klopp.
The Reds had to come from behind at Villa Park to win after Douglas Luiz gave Gerrard's side the lead inside three minutes before Joel Matip equalised soon after.
Sadio Mane's header secured all three points for Liverpool in the second half.
