Bolton Wanderers bid farewell to a total of eight players including several first team stars this summer.
Andrew Tutte and Alex Baptiste have not had their playing contracts at Wanderers renewed. Liam Gordon, Nathan Delfouneso, Reiss Greenidge, Liam Edwards, Matty Alexander and Jay Fitzmartin have all been released too.
Young defender Adam Senior has been offered a fresh contract to extend his time at the club where he has come through the youth team ranks. The summer recruitment is already under way with the acquisition of defender Jack Iredale on a free transfer from Cambridge United.

The Whites are due to return for pre-season training on June 17, before jetting out to Portugal for a training camp a few days later on June 19. Wanderers boss Evatt hopes to have the squad fundamentally in place by the start of pre-season in terms of getting their transfer window business done early, with the new League One season kicking off at the end of July.
Last summer, Wanderers ended up waving goodbye to a total of 10 players as they geared up for life back in League One. Here, nearly 12 months on we take a look at how those players have fared since departing the University of Bolton Stadium.
Ryan Delaney
Delaney joined Wanderers in January 2020 and had been in talks to extend his time with the club last summer. However, he ultimately ended up moving on to pastures new and headed to fellow League One side Morecambe.
The Irish defender turned out 15 times for the Shrimps before moving out on loan to Scunthorpe United and reuniting with his former Wanderers and Rochdale manager Keith Hill. The defender played 18 times for the club but was unable to prevent the Iron being relegated to the National League.
Arthur Gnahoua
A player who achieved a degree of cult status with Wanderers fans thanks to his first interview admission that a reason behind joining was that it was close to his house, Gnahoua scored three times for the Whites last season as they achieved promotion to League One. He was best used as an impact substitute.
Released after his one-year deal expired, he followed Delaney to Morecambe and becaem a regular starter for the Shrimps. He found the back of the net five times in 40 games this season, and has arguably been the biggest success story from those players released last summer.
Jak Hickman
A player who joined from Coventry City and played seven times, scoring once, in the early part of the 2020/21 season. Hickman fell behind Gethin Jones and Peter Kioso in the right-back and wing-back role and departed Wanderers in the summer, after playing once in a loan spell with King's Lynn Town which ended early due to injury.
After leaving Wanderers, he headed over to the Republic of Ireland and made 11 appearances for St Patrick's Athletic. He has since returned to King's Lynn and played 10 times in the second half of the campaign.
Jamie Mascoll
Joined Bolton from Wycombe Wanderers and made nine appearances for the club, scoring once. Most of his appearances came at left wing-back or off the bench.
Mascoll fell down the pecking order and moved on loan to Waterford in the Irish top flight for the second half of Bolton's campaign, before being released last summer. He has spent the most recent season with Wealdstone in the National League, playing 17 times and scoring once for the Stones, but has recently been released.
Shaun Miller
A striker who scored important goals off the bench for the Whites, most notably the winners against Southend United and Barrow, Miller departed after scoring four goals in 24 games for Evatt's side.
Following his release, Miller signed for Northern Premier League side Nantwich Town. He remains with the Dabbers at present.
Muhammadu Faal
The forward played twice under Keith Hill during the 2019/20 season after joining in January 2020. Faal did not feature for Ian Evatt and joined Barnet in the National League on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.
He was released last summer and has since rejoined former club Enfield Town in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Sonny Graham
A member of Wanderers' youngest ever team when he took to the pitch against Coventry City at the start of the 2019/20 season. Graham made 18 appearances in that campaign, but none in the following 2020/21 season under Evatt.
He was released last summer and has most recently played for Trimpell FC in the Mid Lancashire Football League Division One.
Callum King-Harmes
Made his Bolton debut against Wycombe Wanderers and, along with Graham, is a member of Wanderers' youngest ever team when he took to the pitch against Coventry City at the start of the 2019/20 season. He played seven times that campaign as Wanderers were relegated to League Two.
Spent time in the 2020/21 campaign on loan at Bamber Bridge before being released last summer. He has since joined Hednesford Town and Sutton Coldfield Town on a dual registration.
Markus Assarsson
The Swedish born defender did not make an appearance for Bolton's first team before his release. It appears he has not found another club yet after his release last summer.
Nathan Whalley
The now 19-year-old failed to play for Bolton's first team during his time at the club. After his release, he moved on to Ashton Athletic and now plays for Glossop North End.
