What happened in the Commanders and Eagles regular-season games?

Round Three for the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles is on Jan. 26. A trip to the Super Bowl is on the line at Lincoln Financial Field in the NFC Championship Game.

The NFC East rivals split their meetings in the regular season.

The NFC Championship Game will air at 3 p.m. ET, on FOX.

Round One: Eagles 26, Commanders 18

The teams met for the first time in Week 11 on a Thursday night. Jalen Hurts scored the go-ahead touchdown after being evaluated in the second quarter for a concussion and passing protocol.

Saquon Barkley rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns as Philly upped its record to 8-2 and dropped Washington to 7-4.

As has been the case all season, a Commanders fourth-down play had a huge role.

Jayden Daniels was stopped on the try for a first down and the Eagles took over. Barkley scored on a 23-yard run. the first of his two scores in the final quarter.

The Eagles put up 23 straight points bridiging the third and fourth quarters before Washington got a late TD pass from Daniels to former Eagles TE Zach Ertz in the final  minute.

Ertz also caught a two-point conversion to make the difference eight points in the end.

Philadelphia had 434 yards of total offense to Washington’s 264.

Daniels threw for 191 yards with the TD pass and a pick. He only rushed for 18 yards on seven carries.

Round Two: Commanders 36, Eagles 33

The Eagles scored 21 points in the first quarter, buoyed by two Barkley touchdown runs.

That wasn’t nearly enough as Daniels  threw five touchdown passes, including the game-winner to Jamison Crowder with six seconds left.

Barkley had 150 rushing yards, 109 in the first quarter. The Eagles, who were trying to clinch the NFC East, played for much of the game without Hurts (concussion). Backup Kenny Pickett threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.

Daniels threw two picks but had 258 passing yards and 5 TD passes.

Washingfon won despite having five turnovers, the two Daniels interceptions and three lost fumbles.
