Gary Neville believes Manchester United can now dictate matches thanks to their improved midfield line-up.
The former United defender has seen a big improvement since Erik ten Hag's arrival in the summer. Neville believes that new signings Casemiro and Christian Eriksen have added the wow factor to the Old Trafford engine room.
Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of United's clash with West Ham, Neville compared the current midfield to ones from years gone by. "Erik ten Hag is doing a very good job. The big difference for me (is) I think Manchester United, for the first time in many, many years, can play through the midfield," he said.

"Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes - (players) we’ve not seen for five or six years from Jose Mourinho. I think Van Gaal had them playing through midfield with (Ander) Herrera, who I thought was a bit clumsy. Now in midfield, they look better."
Both Casemiro and Eriksen - recruited from Real Madrid and Brentford, respectively - keep their starting places for the visit of David Moyes' side, whilst skipper Harry Maguire makes his first Premier League start since mid-August.
A win for United against West Ham would see them stay hot on the heels of Newcastle who currently occupy the final Champions League spot.
