Arsenal secured a late 4-2 win against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon with Gabriel Martinelli securing the victory with a goal in the 96th minute. The Gunners came from behind twice to draw level with Unai Emery's side before an Emiliano Martinez own goal and Martinelli's injury time finish.
The Brazilian winger was left out of an Arsenal starting lineup by Mikel Arteta for the first time in the Premier League this season. January signing Leandro Trossard started ahead of Martinelli before the 21-year-old was introduced into the match in the 68th minute.
Martinelli finally ended his goal drought for the Gunners with one of the easiest finishes he will ever have against Villa. The Brazilian forward had not scored since the 4-2 win against Brighton on New Year's Eve before he wrapped up the three points and put Arsenal back on top of the Premier League table.

The 21-year-old was ecstatic after securing the win for his team as he raced through towards an empty net after Martinez had gone forward for a late Villa corner. Fabio Vieira slotted a pass through for Martinelli to drive forward and pass the ball into the goal as he started to celebrate before the ball had even crossed the line.
The Arsenal fans in the away end erupted following a crazy end to the match with the north Londoners now sat two points clear with a game in hand. Martinelli shared the excitement with the away fans during his celebration as he shouted: "This is Arsenal!"
The talented forward has recently committed his long-term future to the club after signing a new four-and-a-half-year deal to stay at the Emirates Stadium until 2027. Martinelli's passion was shared by his teammates and manager with Arteta mobbing his coaching staff with hugs before the full-time whistle was blown.
The Brazilian will hope he can continue to go on a run of scoring after a lengthy goal drought with a tough test against Leicester City up next for the Gunners.
