It was all smiles in the Arsenal camp last night as they ended their pre-season tour of America in superb fashion, beating London rivals Chelsea 4-0.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Sambi Lokonga ensured the Gunners picked up their fifth consecutive win of pre-season, but one player, in particular, was getting plenty of love on social media.
Granit Xhaka's Arsenal career has undoubtedly been a rocky one, but he has taken his game to another level over the last year and his fine form has continued into pre-season. The Swiss international received the ball before firing a lovely pass into the path of Jesus, who approached the goalkeeper before dinking the ball over him to put his team one up.

After the match, Xhaka took to social media to announce his delight over a successful tour and the progress made by the team. "Great to finish our US tour with a trophy. We worked hard together and we can feel progress already. Can't wait for the new season to start now. Let's go!" he said on Instagram.
Several Arsenal stars praised him in the comments section, including Saka and Odegaard, but Jesus felt it was only right to show Xhaka some appreciation for the assist that led to his goal. "Thanks bro...good assist. What a player," the Brazilian replied.
Jesus has only been at the club for a few weeks, but he looks as if he has played with this team for years and the chemistry between his teammates certainly shows that. The striker was subbed off during the match after appearing to pick up a knock, but Mikel Arteta has since provided an update on his condition.
Fans will now be hoping that Arsenal's fine form continues into the new Premier League campaign, which gets underway in just over a week's time.
