Chelsea have eased the pressure facing manager Graham Potter by winning their last three games in all competitions. The Blues have were winless in their six games prior to the 1-0 victory against Leeds last weekend, following that up with a 2-0 win in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg against Borussia Dortmund.
Enzo Fernandez has been consistently been one of the best players on the pitch despite the inconsistencies Potter has faced since replacing Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. The Argentine midfielder has continued his brilliant from that helped his nation win the World Cup in Qatar and proven to be a crucial signing after completing a British record transfer move from Benfica in January.
Fernandez has provided two assists in six Premier League appearances so far since joining the Blues, with his latest goal contribution coming in the 3-1 win against Leicester on Saturday afternoon. Potter praised the midfielder in his post-match press conference and believes he will only get better the longer he is at the club.

It seems the love Potter and the fans have for Fernandez goes both ways judging by his celebrations after Mateo Kovacic secured the three points against the Foxes with a brilliant volleyed finish. The Argentina international was ecstatic as the Blues grabbed their third goal of the game as he pulled off a huge knee slide in front of the travelling support before jumping in the air and pumping his fists before joining his teammates in celebrating.
Fernandez had helped Chelsea head into half-time with a 2-1 lead earlier in the match with a brilliant chipped pass over the Foxes' defence, with Kai Havertz latching onto the ball to dink it over Danny Ward - grabbing his second goal in as many games this week. The German forward has struggled for form in front of goal, but after scoring the winner against Dortmund on Tuesday night he looks to have regained some confidence.
Fernandez has partnered Kovacic in midfield in the last three games, with Potter reverting back to a 3-4-3 system that has helped Chelsea achieve success in the past. The formation allows the likes of Ben Chilwell to excel, with the former Leicester defender scoring against his old side to open the scoring for the Blues.
Joao Felix was hooked at half-time after having a goal ruled out for offside in the first half, with his replacement Conor Gallagher helping the west Londoners gain control in midfield alongside Fernandez and Kovacic.
N'Golo Kante's imminent return from injury may be the missing piece to the puzzle that could see the £106million signing take his game to a new level and have more freedom to attack and create chances in the final third as Chelsea gain momentum for a late top four push in the Premier League.
