England are still yet to secure their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup after drawing 0-0 with the United States of America.
The Three Lions could not find a way past the USA, who arguably had the better chances and were particularly bright in the first half. The result leaves England top of Group B after their opening two fixtures, with four points.
Gareth Southgate’s side are one point ahead of second-placed Iran in the group. The USA have two points, with Wales just one heading into the final fixtures left to play in Group B.

With just one more group match left to play for each team, attention will soon be looking at who England could play in the last-16 - but things are still not quite sewn up.
Should England secure top spot after they play Wales on Tuesday, then they will face whoever finishes second in Group A. This is looking likely to be either Ecuador or Senegal , although there is still a chance that it could also be the Netherlands.
A win against Wales guarantees England top position in the group from here. Were this to happen, then England would play their last-16 tie at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor on Sunday, December 4.
If England finished second in the group - and there are multiple permutations which could lead to that - they would face the winners of Group A, which is likely to be the Netherlands. Southgate's men take on Wales on Tuesday night, with Iran playing the USA at the same time.
In the second-placed scenario, England would play their last-16 tie on Saturday, December 3 at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan.
Given tonight's draw, there remains a slender chance England will not proceed to the knockout stages at all. A draw against Wales will be enough for the Three Lions to secure first or second - depending on what happens between Iran and USA.
But should Wales win by an unlikely significant margin on Tuesday, it could throw up permutations that see England slip down to third.
