What England fans have now been banned from doing as Qatari cops enforce World Cup clamp down

England supporters could face a ban to stop them chanting in public after locals have urged Qatari police to clamp down on the noise made by the travelling Englishman.

Thousands of supporters have made the long journey to Qatar to witness Gareth Southgate's side take part in the World Cup. Not many would have expected to see the Three Lions kick off their campaign in the manner they did as they surpassed Iran 6-2 in Doha on Monday.

Two goals from Bukayo Saka and an all-around impressive performance meant England took one step towards the round of 16 with an astounding result. Southgate's men face USA this evening looking to secure their spot in the knockout stages.

After the win over Iran, many supporters took to the streets of Doha to display their gratitude and satisfaction at their nation's result with a series of England chants. However, the noise hasn't gone down well amongst locals who have asked local cops to intervene and deal with the noise.

Patrolling officers did warn supporters to keep their volume down and there remain concerns among England supporters that they could be banned despite splashing out so much money to witness the prestigious tournament.

Whilst many British travellers have made cameo appearances on BBC Sport to declare their happiness with their living environment, there have been some who have experienced below-optimal experiences with hotels and alcohol accessibility.

Should England supporters win this evening, Qatari police will be on red alert to clamp down on any vocal supporting groups roaming the streets.
