What else can the Boston Celtics do to build out their roster?

The Boston Celtics have a lack of depth in their frontcourt and have a $6.2 million trade player exception (TPE) left over from the trade that sent former Celtics reserve forward Grant Williams to the Dallas Mavericks at the start of the 2023 NBA offseason.

Will they make use of this resource to bolster their big man rotation? While the team has often accumulated trade exceptions that remained unused, in this new collective bargaining agreement (CBA), the Celtics cannot afford to waste any resources they have available to bolster their chances to win a title, either. The team seems content with their current options, including Luke Kornet but may explore the trade market if they find those options wanting.
