Buckle up for two very important weeks for the Green Bay Packers. Matt LaFleur’s team will participate in two joint practices and two preseason games before general manager Brian Gutekunst determines both the 53-man roster and 16-man practice squad (or 17, if international player Kenneth Odumegwu is retained on the practice squad exemption).
In two weeks’ time, the Packers will have the preseason schedule in the rear-view mirror and all attention will be on the trip to Brazil to play the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. Before then, LaFleur must get his 91-man roster ready for two important joint practices and two preseason games, which will help Gutekunst make all the big decisions regarding the formation of his roster entering the 2024 season.
