What does superstar Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have to do to win the 2023 NBA Kia Most Valuable Player (MVP) award?
The St. Louis native seems to have a fair amount of what is expected of an MVP candidate under control with his team among the top teams, record-wise, in the league, and his ranking among the NBA’s top scorers.
He’s also defending on the other end of the court as he has never defended before, and has even found ways to make himself effective at the line, as a floor general and defender on nights when his shot abandons him. Are there other things Tatum needs to do to become a leading MVP candidate?
The hosts of the NBC Sports Boston “Celtics Talk” podcast Chris Forsberg and Eddie House got into answering this question on a recent episode.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say!
