The Boston Celtics signed Reggie Kissoonlal to their roster for the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League. He most recently played for the Maine Celtics in G League’s 2022-23 season and showed significant potential despite having played limited playing time.
Kissoonlal is a 27-year-old, 7-foot-tall swingman from Jacksonville, Florida, with the size of a big man and some guard skills, who played his college basketball at Northwestern State. Kissoonlal had a decent performance in the Danish League prior to joining the G League, where his breakout play caught the attention of Boston’s front office.
Who is Kissoonlal, and how might his play accentuate what the Celtics hope to do in Sin City? Does he have a chance to make the regular roster or a two-way slot?
