Disney+ is one of the growing online streaming platforms for movies and TV shows. The platform has grown to home some of the most popular series and films beyond what you would expect to see on the traditional Disney channel that was cancelled last year.
Popular shows and movies that have graced Disney+ so far include Moon Knight, Dopesick, Modern Family, Luke Cage and more. For the month of May, there is expected to be even more great shows to land on Disney+.
From spin-off shows from popular shows, like How I Met Your Father, to classic films like Big Momma’s House, there is a variety of entertaining films and shows for Disney+ subscribers to watch this month.
How I Met Your Father
How I Met Your Father is a spin-off series of How I Met Your Mother. The new series will follow a young woman in the world trying to find love in life, called Sophie (Hilary Duff). In the future, an older version of Sophie shares with her son how she met his father and what happened afterwards.
This new series will be available to watch on Disney+ on May 11.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
On May 27, Star Wars Fans will be able to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi as it follows him hiding out on Tatooine while watching over a young Luke Skywalker, 10years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
Snowfall Season 4
Season 4 of Snowfall is available to watch on Disney+ on May 4. Starring Britain’s own Damson Idris, this series has grown in popularity over the past drama series that have been made as it follows the Los Angeles budding drug epidemic in the early 1980s.

Grown-ish S4
Grown-ish is a spin-off series of the Black-ish series. It follows a group of uni students navigating the journey of college life in the US and the complexities that come with it. The first series of Grown-ish was in 2018. Season four of Grown-ish will be released on Disney+ on May 18.
Big Momma’s House
There will be three instalments of Big Momma’s House that will be released on Disney+. This will be Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, Big Momma’s House 2 and Big Momma’s House.
