What Derrick Henry said in first presser since suffering foot injury

For the first time since suffering a broken bone in his foot in Week 8 that landed him on Injured Reserve, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry addressed the media on Wednesday.

Henry, who has been designated to return from IR after missing the final nine games of the 2021 season, has been practicing the past two weeks and began taking contact for the first time on Tuesday.

Earlier in the week, head coach Mike Vrabel said Henry has been responding “pretty well” and the goal was for him to take on more in the week leading up to the divisional-round game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The expectation is that Henry will be activated off IR any day now, clearing the way for him to play on Saturday.

Here’s a look at what Henry had to say about numerous topics in his first presser since sustaining the foot injury against the Indianapolis Colts.
