Former Liverpool man Jamie Carragher was blanked by Cristiano Ronaldo live on Sky Sports.
The Manchester United striker has been named on the bench for tonight's crucial Premier League clash at Old Trafford, with both sides currently in the bottom half and looking for their first win of the season. Erik Ten Hag made the bold call to drop the 37-year-old after two defeats against Brighton and Brentford and speculation over his future in Manchester.
Never one to avoid the limelight, the Portugal international made a surprise appearance during Sky's coverage to speak to former teammates Gary Neville and Roy Keane - but left Carragher red-faced by blanking him.

Reds legend Carragher looked to have offered Ronaldo his microphone in a bid to steal an interview with the former Real Madrid star amid his own claims that he will reveal the truth in two weeks - regarding speculation over his desire to leave Old Trafford and reported problems within the Manchester United camp.
Carragher and Neville have both been vocal in urging Ronaldo to come out and reveal the truth now, claiming that by withholding he is only making matters worse within the club - although the veteran goalscorer refused to be pulled into a spontaneous interview.
