Is Discovery Plus available in the UK and Ireland?
The UK and Ireland were two of the first places where Discovery Plus launched. It arrived in these regions in late 2020, replacing the existing D-Play platform.
In the UK, the easiest way to get your fix of all the programming Discovery has on offer is to get Discovery Plus on Prime Video Channels. It costs £4.99 per month for the Entertainment package and £6.99 per month for the Entertainment Plus Sport plan.

Access to Discovery Plus on its own in the UK and Ireland costs £4.99/€5.99 a month or £49.99/€59.99 for an annual subscription which will save you just under £12/€12 a year. Whether you jump for a monthly or an annual plan, there's a seven-day trial available to try before you buy.
Recently, Discovery also launched the 'Ad-lite' plan in the region following its successful launch in the US. For £3.99/€4.99 a month (or £39.99/€49.99 a year), you can pay slightly less for this ad-supported plan, though Discovery still says this service contains "less than half the amount of ads viewers experience through linear television."
Discovery has partnered with Sky TV in the UK to tempt would-be subscribers to the service. All Sky Q customers can get you can get a whopping twelve months of Discovery Plus access for free. Which other countries will get Discovery Plus?
Discovery Plus was first launched in India in March 2020, with the initial UK and Ireland release following that October. Additionally, Discovery partnered with Megogo to bring Discovery Plus to their customers in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
The US rollout came at the start of 2021, and also included territories like American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Shortly after the US launch, Discovery Plus was made available in Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and Poland.
Most recently, the service has been launched in the Philippines (in partnership with Globe Telecom), in Canada (in partnership with Corus Entertainment) and Brazil, where it is also available with the Brazilian streaming service, Globoplay.
Through a partnership with Starzplay, Discovery Plus content is also available in 18 countries across the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA). Access in this region costs AED/SAR15 a month, in addition to existing subscription packages.
Launches are still reportedly planned for Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Portugal, Romania, parts of Latin America and parts of Asia.
