Ex-Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho's first-half display for Aston Villa on Wednesday night against Leeds United had Reds fans talking.
Villa boss Steven Gerrard secured a January loan for his former Liverpool team-mate from Barcelona and has seen immediate success.
Coutinho scored on his debut to help Gerrard's side come from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester United.
And the Brazilian has continued to impress under the guidance of the Liverpool legend in the Premier League.
This culminated in an opening 45-minute period on Wednesday night which showed Coutinho at his best, grabbing two assists and a goal as Villa entered the dressing room 3-2 up at the break against Leeds, who have since equalised to make it 3-3.
Another of his former Liverpool team-mates, Jamie Carragher, was among those on social media praising Coutinho's performance, with many wanting to see this version of the playmaker playing for Jurgen Klopp.
Coutinho could be in action against Liverpool when the two sides meet at Villa Park on April 16.
