Under-fire Christian Ramirez landed himself in hot water with the Aberdeen fans - but performed a quick-fire social media U-turn.
The US cap striker took in the Europa League clash on Thursday night and was impressed by Rangers as the clash with Borussia Dortmund unfolded.
James Tavernier slotted home a penalty given, before Alfredo Morelos added to the advantage before the break.
John Lundstram’s stunning strike added to the Premiership champions' advantage before Dortmund's Jude Bellingham sparked something of a fightback from the Bundesliga side.
It was then that Ramirez incurred the fury of the Aberdeen support.
Ramirez tweeted "3-1 what a game so far," followed by a Saltire emoji.
The post was hastily taken down by the striker before he followed up, commenting: "Deleted, jeez didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to watch."
Given the long-standing rivalry between the Ibrox side and the Dons, a mixed response met the American on social media with some insisting a Pittodrie striker "can't be happy to see Rangers winning."
It's the second time Ramirez has caught the eye of Aberdeen fans with social media comments, raising eyebrows by tweeting "F***" following the sacking of Stephen Glass.
