What Chelsea fans did to Tottenham supporters during Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea fans were heard singing about their trip to Wembley in the Carabao Cup on Sunday, poking fun at their opponents Tottenham, who they beat to book their place in the final of the competition.

The Blues beat Spurs twice in their two legs earlier this month, winning 2-0 and 1-0 respectively to earn their place in the final against Liverpool.

The victory marked yet another competition that Thomas Tuchel has guided his side to a final in, already doing so in the FA Cup and the Champions League.

Whilst one of those ended in defeat at Wembley to the hands of Leicester City, the Blues did become European Champions with victory over Manchester City in Porto last year.

The place in the Carabao Cup final in February means that Tuchel is one of the most successful managers for the club in the opening 12 months of his reign, having booked a place in the final of all three cup competitions the Blues are involved in.

He won’t be satisfied with just that though, knowing another trophy is on the line when he faces compatriot Jurgen Klopp at Wembley.

The fixture could be a tense one, not just because of the occasion, but going off of head-to-head this season too.

Neither side have been able to get an upper-hand on each other both in the league standings or against each other.

The Blues drew both games with the Reds in the league, 1-1 and 2-2 respectively, defending stoically in the match at Anfield with only ten-men and fighting hard after going 2-0 down at Stamford Bridge.

However, the semi-final win clearly still lives long in the memory of the Chelsea faithful.

When they faced Tottenham on Sunday, Blues fans sang: “Que Sera Sera, whatever will be will be, we’re going to Wembley.”

Not only did it gloat to the away fans at Stamford Bridge that the side will be competing for another trophy this season, but they did so over their opponents and close rivals.
